How it works

Within nearly every cell live tiny engines called mitochondria, sometimes thousands per cell, working tirelessly to create ATP, the energy currency your cells rely on to move, repair, grow, and thrive.

Red light is nourishment

Red and near-infrared light are natural forms of energy your body was designed to absorb. But we spend up to 90% of our time indoors, cut off from the full spectrum of healing light, so our mitochondria slow down.

Recharging from within

Red light (610–760 nm) works on the surface, nourishing skin and supporting repair. Near-infrared (760–1,400 nm) goes deeper, reaching muscles, joints, and organs to awaken the body's regenerative systems.

With more ATP available, the body becomes more capable of regenerating tissue, reducing inflammation, and restoring balance, from the skin to the immune system.

Frequently Asked Questions

A distance of 15–50 cm for 10–20 minutes on the illuminated area. Longer sessions are less effective as cells stop absorbing more light after ~20 minutes. The further from the source, the longer you'll need, as intensity decreases with distance. Individual reactions vary, so listen to your body.
We recommend protective glasses to keep your eyes safe; some clients simply close their eyes. If you have sensitive eyes or find the light uncomfortable, please consult your doctor.
