Our Story
Subtle Being didn’t begin as a brand, it began as a quiet response. A response to pain, disconnection, burnout, and the longing for something more truthful and comprehensive.
It was born through the hands and heart of Jody, a long-time student of Buddhist meditation, guided by his teacher Burgs, and committed to the path of the bodhisattva—one who dedicates their life to the awakening and liberation of all beings.
For years, Jody offered mobile treatments and rooted in breathwork, massage, and meditation. Thousands of sessions. Hundreds of stories. Again and again, the same truth revealed itself:
Healing begins with awareness, breath and movement.
Subtle Being draws deeply from the Buddhist tradition, not as dogma, but as a living wisdom of compassion, stillness, and clarity. This spiritual foundation isn’t separate from the therapeutic work. It is the therapeutic work.
Subtle Being is more than a clinic or service. It is a sanctuary for those ready to return to themselves, gently and completely.

Our Philosophy
At the core of Subtle Being is the belief that Awareness, Breath, and Movement is medicine
We are not here to fix you, we’re here to guide you home, Back to your awareness and breath. Back to your body and its wisdom so you can move freely and Express.
