What to expect
Dress Code
We recommend comfortable, loose-fitting clothing to allow ease of movement. For full-body treatments we may ask you to expose the specific areas being worked on; our draping techniques ensure privacy, dignity, and comfort at all times. We also suggest removing jewellery or accessories that may interfere with your treatment.
Arrival & Preparation
Your therapist will aim to arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. This allows time for a seamless setup, any necessary paperwork, and a brief consultation to discuss your goals, preferences, and health considerations.
Your Consultation
Upon arrival, you'll have the opportunity to communicate any specific concerns, areas of focus, or health conditions that may impact your treatment. Your privacy is paramount, and all shared information is handled with complete confidentiality in adherence to the Data Protection Act 2018.
During Your Session
Your therapist will create a calm and peaceful environment to enhance relaxation. You may undress to your comfort level, and professional draping will be used to maintain modesty while ensuring effective treatment. Only the area being worked on will be exposed at any given time.
Communication & Comfort
We encourage open communication throughout your session. Your therapist will regularly check in to ensure the pressure, techniques, and focus areas align with your needs. If at any point you'd like adjustments, simply let us know.
Aftercare & Post-Massage Guidance
It's common to experience mild soreness for 48–72 hours, particularly after deep tissue work. We recommend:
- ✔ Staying hydrated: drink plenty of water to aid recovery.
- ✔ Gentle movement: walking can support circulation and mobility.
- ✔ Cold therapy: use an ice pack if you experience tenderness.
- ✔ Follow any self-care recommendations from your therapist.
